for the Department of Pathology. Our technical expert and manager of the
area is Vicki Martin BS,
MT(ASCP).
Some of the functions that are performed in this area include:
- Establishing areas of performance improvement with threshold levels.
- Maintains, reviews, and performs statistical analysis on performance improvement issues.
- Works actively with all personnel to assure that all quality assurance standards are met.
- Review of problem logs and corrective actions.
- Review of CAP survey results for general compliance.
- Preparation of quality assurance reports for administrative personnel.
- Conducts customer satisfaction surveys to determine areas needing improvement.
