POC Staff Reviewing Testing Procedure With Nursing Personnel

The Quality Assurance Program at LSUHSC-Shreveport is designed to involve both testing personnel and administrative personnel throughout the facility. The program is fortunate to have an extremely strong nursing support system. Additionally, the POC Laboratory Staff is both knowledgeable and experience participating in both on-site and off-site CAP accreditation inspections.

Nursing and laboratory personnel continuously strive to meet and exceed regulatory standards so that continuity and quality patient care are always achieved.

POC nurse trainers pride themselves in working closely with the POC Laboratory Staff to correct deficiencies immediately and establish standard operating procedures that will prevent reoccurance.
