Research
Programs |
||||||||
Although the Department of Pathology has been present at LSU Health Sciences Center since its inception, the department's Division of Research was established only eight years ago. Since that time, three full-time basic science researchers have joined the division. Both basic science and clinical faculty offer residents, clinical fellows, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows the potential to experience a diverse range of research projects. In turn, the trainees have an opportunity to present the results of their projects at national meetings and an annual departmental research forum. For information on research being performed, please contact Dr. Kevin McCarthy, Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology and Anatomy or visit our Research site. |
